The Pirates women’s soccer team has had a hot start to the season. The girls currently boast an impressive 4-2 record thanks to multiple key wins so far in non-conference play. The Pirates have taken down Southwest, Northwest and Northern. They look to head into conference play with momentum as their first game will be March 22^nd at Grimsley. This year’s team lacks experience but make up for it with skill as they only have three seniors on the squad- Kelsey Chamberlin, Hannah Diaz and Gillian Smith. The leading scorer so far this season is freshman Keyera Wynn, with four goals. Expectations are high for the Lady Pirates as they head into conference play next week!
