On Friday, December 9th the Pirates football team defeated Vance in the semi-finals of state playoffs 49-14.  This game marks the 14th straight win for the Pirates as Quarterback Will Jones threw for 6 total touchdowns in the victory.  Will Jones has thrown a total of 18 touchdown passes in the playoffs, averaging an impressive 6 touchdown passes a game.  The Pirates seeking for revenge on Saturday, December 17th, as we travel to North Carolina State’s Carter-Finley Stadium to play number one seed Wake Forest in the North Carolina 4AA State Championship.  As always, good luck and go Pirates!
