Girls’ Basketball Kicking off 2017

Pirates Women’s basketball team end off the year of 2016 with a 7-5 record including games in the HAECO tournament on December 26-28, 2016. The Pirates won a total of 4 games in the month of December. Way to go Girls! The Pirates defeated Greensboro Day, Ragsdale, Southwest and High Point Central.

Every year immediately following the Christmas holiday, select Greensboro High Schools participate in the HAECO Invitational Tournament hosted at the Greensboro Coliseum. The Pirates Women’s basketball team head coach, Debbie Jones holds four championship titles in the tournament overall. This year our girls faced Ragsdale (W), Northwest (L), and Dudley (L).

Our latest game was Tuesday, January 3^rd at Southeast Guilford. Our Pirates brought a 53-32 dub! The women will next face off against the Panthers of Dudley HS tonight.
