Men’s Track Wins Alton Tyre Invitational; Women Capture Second

On Saturday, March 11th, 16 local schools participated in the Annual Alton Tyre Invitational Relays meet at Southeast Guilford. Page Boys came in 1st place and Girls came in 2nd, making this the best Page has ever done in the Alton Tyre Relays Meet. Also, the Boys scored the most points in history of the Alton Tyre Relays Meet. Congrats on all these accomplishments!!

Page boys places very well Saturday in many events. We had 4 boys place 1st in their individual events.
Naseem Alston (11th)- 110 meter Hurdles
Ian Shanklin (12th)- 1600 meter
Armond Davis (12th)- Discus
Assad Alston (11th)- Triple Jump

Also, we had boys relay teams place 1st in 4 separate relay events: Boys 4×110 shuttle Hurdle relay, Boys 4×400 meter relay, Boys distance medley relay, and Boys sprint medley relay. Way to represent the Pirates boys!

For girls, we had two girls place 1st in their individual events:

Sydney Deberry (11th)- Long Jump
Kayla Harris (12th)- Triple Jump
