Men’s Track & Field Captures GCS Outdoor Title

On Friday and Saturday April 21st and 22nd our Page track team outraced at The Guilford County Championship at Southeast Guilford High School. Our boys went out and placed 1st place with 112 points to top 14 other schools and the Girls came in 8th with 51 points! The Pirates came to win! This is our boys second Guilford County Championship win including Indoors a couple of months ago.
We had numerous medals given, once again, from placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd place.

Girls:
• High Jump: Chris Toe #1st
• Long Jump: Sydney Deberry #3rd
• High Jump: Kayla Harris #3rd

Boys:
• 1600m race: Ian Shanklin #1st and Freddie Marx #3rd
• 3200m race: Freddie Marx #1st
• 400m race: Trey Cousar #2nd
• 800m race: Ahmed Sinada #2nd
• 4x100m relay #2nd
• 4x200m relay #2nd
• 4x800m relay #1st

Congratulations to our Pirates! As we only have a few meets left, we have our final Conference meet Wednesday at Dudley against Dudley and Grimsley! Good luck to our Pirates!
