Wednesday Wisdom

Robert H. Schuller once said, “Problems are not stop signs, they are guidelines.” Every time something goes wrong in your life it can feel like the world is ending. It can feel like all of the hard work that you put in to something is just a waste. When situations like this happen in your life, remember Schuller’s wise words. You can’t always control what happens in your life, but you do have the power to decide what you do when bad things happen. Problems are always going to pop up in your life. According to Schuller you should view these problems as guidelines and not stop signs. When you view them as stop signs, you lose all motivation to keep going and change the situation for the better. If you view problems as guidelines and not stop signs it will change your life for the better. It can be hard to not see problems the way you are used to seeing them, but it is worth it in the end.
