Tough Ending to A Great Season

Despite a State Championship loss, Page Football has nothing to keep their heads down about. The Pirates finished their season Saturday in the State championship against Wake Forest. It wasn’t the result we hoped for, losing 29-0. Page finished the season 14-2 after winning 14 straight games leading into the State Championship. Quarterback and Western Carolina commit Will Jones finished off a great Senior year with 38 touchdowns and 3109 total yards. Running back and Maryland commit Javon Leake finished off his senior year with 30 total touchdowns and 1741 yards. Senior wide receiver Ronald Polite had a great year with 22 touchdowns and 1389 receiving yards.
