The Pirates hope to do good this season with many returning stars from last year. The returners from last year include Gracey Albright,( Sr. catcher), Kamryn Graves, (Jr short stop), Caroline Dunn, (Sr. third base), Madelyn Albright, (sophomore first base), Cassidi Sockwell, (sophomore centerfield), and Jordyn Price (Sr. second base) . A key newcomer is a freshman named Natalie Brown who is playing pitcher. They have an experienced team and wish to get a signature win in the conference over Southeast and Southern Alamance who have been dominating the conference lately. The softball team won 15 games last season and hope to top that this season, but it might be hard due to a challenging schedule. Coaches Ethan Albright and Amanda White lead them.
