It is February ladies and gents, and you know exactly what that means. It’s that time of the year when you are either single and have nothing to worry about, or you need to figure out what the heck to get your boyfriend or girlfriend. In this article, I am going to list 5 amazing gifts that everyone will love (other than flowers).

1: PLANNING A DATE

Let’s be creative this year. Stop wasting your money on chocolates you have no idea if they will love or not. Don’t buy Walmart flowers and pre-packaged gift baskets. BE CREATIVE. Planning a date does not have to be complicated- you don’t need to make reservations a day in advance at Olive Garden. Plan a picnic, or make a special dinner at home. It’s genuinely the thought that counts. Money doesn’t buy love.

2: GIFT BASKET

Here’s what to do: head to your local Target, get a basket, and fill it with everything your person loves. It can be their favorite candy, a journal, books, skincare/beauty products, etc. Make it simple, special, and sweet. This makes it much more meaningful if you make it yourself instead of purchasing a pre-packaged basket at the store.

3: PERSONAL JEWELRY

No one wants insensitive charms with hearts and their name in the middle. Jewelry would be an amazing gift if it’s not bland and lacking any sentimental feeling. For example, get your significant other their birth gemstone, or a piece of jewelry they have been eyeing for a while.

4: PLANNED EXPERIENCE

Take a cooking class together, go visit a museum, tour unique restaurants, have a day at the beach. Create an experience you will both love and remember. Learn a new sport together, learn how to bake cookies, anything that shows you both care for each of your interests.

5: A BIG TEDDY BEAR

Let’s be honest- everyone wants a teddy bear from their boyfriend or girlfriend. However, this cannot be a regular teddy bear. This has to be bigger than them, almost like a pillow for both of you guys. A word of advice: if your man doesn’t want a giant teddy bear, break up with him ASAP.
