After COVID really no schools used lockers because they stopped using them during COVID to stop the spread I assume. But my research tells me that in Greensboro NC they stopped using them when school violence became such a public issue. I totally agree with that because kids can hide things in they’re lockers and I feel like lockers hold students up during class change because you’d have to stop in your tracks and get stuff out of your locker.
I personally think that’s a bit much. But I’ve only been at Page high school since last year, my freshman year. So when I was here we weren’t using the lockers for anything. So I believe that’s probably why they took them away because they were useless. They would just sit and take up hall space.
