Many Americans like to celebrate National Oatmeal Month by taking pride and honoring the breakfast staple that is cherished by many, and has soo many different flavors. Many tend to lead on oatmeal for its benefits, vitamins, nutrition and fiber. Many people like to add many toppings like bananas, strawberries, blueberries, cinnamon, nuts butter and sugar. Oatmeal can either be served hot or cold. Some make their oatmeal making overnight oats with again serving it many toppings like fruit or nuts. Oatmeal is actually environmentally friendly choice, requiring less water to grow compared to other grains. Throughout the month of January many food brands and cafes are handing out promotions and recipes, while social media campaigns inspire creativity. The earliest evidence of people eating oats dates back more than 30,000 years ago. This is unlike cereal which did not come into America until the 1860s.
