As we move away from cold weather, animals begin to migrate to warmer weather. Animals that represent spring often found in warmer weather are:
Lambs:
Lambs are associated with spring because they are usually
born in the spring when the weather is warming up and
nutritious grass becomes available.
Rabbits:
Rabbits are associated with spring because of their
symbolism of fertility and new life.
Deer:
Deer are associated with spring due to the timing of birth,
coinciding with the abundance of new plant growth and the
return of warmer weather, which symbolizes renewal and the
start of a new cycle.
Red Fox:
Red foxes are associated with spring because of their cubs
being born during this season, and they become more active
when the weather is warmer.
Badger:
Badgers are associated with spring because, during late
winter and early spring, they come out of their dens, due to
the warming weather and more food.
