If you’ve heard 80s music coming from a classroom, or maybe you had the choir visit your class, you might be wondering what’s going on.
Last week, the school’s choir spread good vibes and an important message, ahead of their big concert on Tuesday, April 29th. Inspired by their Christmas caroling tradition, Mrs. French and her students wanted to surprise classrooms with a live performance.
The choir performed songs like “Thriller”, “Sweet Dreams (are made of this), and “Jessie’s Girl”. The students in the Choir said that the class helps brighten their day, while also making the classroom feel more connected and energized. “It helps you unwind and still learn,” one choir member said. “It’s different from just sitting at a desk all day.”
The choir struggled with having enough members before, with around 80 students now, if you’re thinking about joining the chorus, there’s no better time. And don’t forget about the concert, Tuesday at 7 pm!
