It’s North Carolina college application week! During this week, which is promoted by North Carolina, many NC schools will waive their application fees. Not all of the North Carolina schools waive their fees but there are many which do waive their fees. This promotes more high school students to apply to their college. This saves students the normal $50-$80 which college applications normally cost. It occurs the second or third week in November. Students can apply from 7 am Monday to 5 pm Friday during the specific week. Applications must be submitted through CFNC.org. Page allows students in the computer labs to apply and there are counselors such as Mrs. Long or Mrs. Huber in the labs to help you apply. They help you fill out the multiple forms and the applications for the schools.
Underclassmen, keep this week in mind for your senior year if you want to save money. College application week is a good week to get applications in to extra schools which you don’t apply early to and just to have some extra options.
