Reportedly on the 24th a Man in Saint Matthews, South Carolina was visiting a property owned by a family member that was, at the time, vacant, was shot by a “booby trap”, allegedly set up by the property owner. It was reported that a shotgun was set up to go off if anyone tried to enter the home. The family member shot by the trap, 34 year old Jordan Dove, later died in hospital from the injuries he sustained. After assessing the area a local sheriff said the trap, and the others that were found, seemed to be aimed at law enforcement. The homeowner, Alfonzo Brown, who is currently being held in a prison out of state, is being investigated for these crimes. Police say the investigation is still “very active.”
