This past summer was one of the hottest summers we’ve had on a global scale in years. The United States has suffered several heat waves, droughts, floods, and fires caused by man man-made climate destruction. This past summer many lives have been taken due to the extreme weather conditions and caused millions of dollars in economic losses. A climatologist gave his two cents about the sweltering heat that happened this past summer. “Even if it’s not all year round, we’re starting to live in a world where the summers have been seriously harmful to humans and many ecosystems. This brings us closer to the tipping point,” warned Davide Faranda. Many specialists have warned us about the severity of climate change this year and there is so much pressure for us to change the fate of earth. Scientists have confirmed that climate change is currently driving an ongoing drought in many European countries such as Italy. This drought affected the typhoon Gaemi which killed over 100 people in the countries
China, Phillippines, and Taiwan. Many scientists have realized that if we don’t change our ways soon, our world will be left in destruction and devastation.
