The Page Pirates defeated rival Grimsley on Friday with a 42-0 blowout. This marks the 9^th consecutive year that the Pirates have come out on top against the Whirlies. After a loss to East Forsyth on 9/25, the Pirates have been on a tear over their past two games, combining for 91 points and only allowing 7 total points. The Pirates have clearly found a good rhythm as of late, ad will look to keep it up against a 1-7 Smith Golden Eagle team. Quarterback Will Jones has loved the intensity the team is playing with, stating “We’ve been on a roll recently, the team has been playing with lots of energy and it’s shown up in the scoreboard.” The next game is this Friday at home at 7:30, be sure to come out and support!
