The Page Track team recently competed in the Neal Morris Invitational which took place at T.W. Andrews High School in High Point. The competing teams were: Dudley, Grimsley, High Point Central, High Point Christian Academy, Mallard Creek, North Iredell, Northern Guilford, Northwest Guilford, Page, Pine Lake Preparatory, Randleman, Richmond Senior, South Davidson, Southeast Guilford, Southern Guilford, Southwest Guilford, Starmount, T.W. Andrews, and Westchester Country Day School. Page had multiple top 10 finishes and the shot put and discus team excelled with some top 3 finishes. T’Keyah Alston for Page finished 2^nd in shot put for the girls and Armond Davis for the boys finished 9^th. We would like to give a shout out to the 4×800 relay team for finishing 2^nd and to Ahmed Sinada and Nathan Gillespie for finishing 6^th and 7^th respectively in the 800m. Junior Ian Shanklin finished with the best individual performance of the day by finishing 2^nd in the boys 3200. Page, as usual, had some top finishes by its runners and had great individual performances along with great team performances as well.
