The Pirate baseball team played two games in a row last week. The first game was on March 2nd against Eastern Guilford. The Pirates lost that game 6-2, with 2 double plays and 1 stolen base coming from Garret Willett, and scores in the first and fifth innings. The second game was against Wheatmore on March 3rd, where we lost 8-2. We had a poor .091 batting average with 28 plate appearances with only 2 hits. The Pirates hope to bounce back in their next game against Northwest Guilford at home on March 8th.
