The Pirates played against High Point Central on March 23rd. We lost the matchup 7-5. We had a decent batting average of .345, and 5 base on balls. We had 9 bases stolen on 9 attempts, a 1.000 fielding percentage, and 3 total strike outs the whole game. Following the loss against High Point Central, the Pirates bounced back to defeat Ben L. Smith 8-4. Jackson Ratliff led the team in pitching with 100 total pitches in the entire game. This win put the pirates at a 3-6 record, and they hope to improve that against Dudley on March 28th.
