Last week on Wednesday, September 13th, The Men’s Soccer team took on the Eagles of East Forsyth. After a hard fought game, the Pirates lost 2-4. Both Pirate goals were scored by AC Camara. “Even though the results in the East Forsyth game weren’t in our favor, we still battled and we are learning form our mistakes to be stronger in conference and in the playoffs,” said Giovanni Santibanez, captain of the Men’s Soccer team. On Wednesday September 20th, the men took on the War Eagles of Davie County High School. The Pirates dominated the game and took home a win of 9-0. Santibanez said, “The Davie County game truly showed our scoring potential to find the back of the net. It was nice to finally work as a team and get a positive result.” The Pirates play today, September 26th at home against the Northwest Vikings.
