On Tuesday, October 10th the Pirates took on the Whirlies of Grimsley High School in an away conference game. At the end of regulation, the teams were tied 1-1. Giovanni Lagnerini score the Pirate goal against the Whirlies in the second half. After no goals being scored by either team in double overtime, the game went into a penalty shootout. The Pirates took home the win in the shootout, beating the Whirlies 4-2. On Thursday, October 12th the men took on the Northwest Vikings in an away conference game. After a hard fought game, the Pirates lost 5-2. The Pirate goals were scored by AC Camara and Giovanni Santibanez. The Pirates play next on Tuesday, October 17th in a home conference game against Ragsdale.
