On Tuesday January 30, the Page Men and Women Indoor Track Team ran in the Guilford County Championship. The men’s team captured the gold over 16 other teams. This makes the men back to back champions. In the men’s 55 meter hurdles Naseem Alston got 3rd overall, the men’s 4x 200 relay received 2nd and 4×400 relay got 2nd, Cam Milroy earned 4th in the men’s 3200 meter run, Nick Butler got 5th in the men’s shotput, Assad Alston received 2nd in the men’s 500 meter dash, Nick Butler earned 5th in the men’s shot put, Nick Baker got 5th in the men’s triple jump and Jeremiah Holloway got 4th in the men’s high jump. Overall, the woman’s team earned 8th. Julia Taylor got 1st in the women’s 500 meter, Sydney Deberry got 3rd in the women’s triple jump and 4th in the women’s long jump and the woman’s 4x 200 relay came in 4th.
