On April 20 and 21st, the Pirate Track Team ran in the 2018 Guilford County Championship Meet. This meet was hosted by Southeast High School. Overall, the boys came in 4th and girls in 6th. On this two day meet, Sydney Deberry earned 1st in both the Girls triple jump and long jump while Julia Taylor placed 3rd in the 400 meter dash. For the relays, the Girls 4×100 relay placed 6th, the 4×200 and 4×400 came in 4th and the 4×800 earned 5th. Cam Milroy received 1st in the Boys 3200 meter run and 2nd in the Boys 1600 meter run, Assad Alston got 3rd in the Boys 400 meter dash and Naseem Alston placed 3rd in the Boys 110 meter hurdles and 2nd in the Boys 300 meter hurdles. For the relays, the Boys 4×200 and 4×400 placed 2nd while the Boys 4×100 and 4×800 meter came in 4th.
