Page’s girls varsity volleyball team is ranked number 136 in the state of North Carolina with 10 wins and 5 losses overall. We are second in our conference with 5 wins and 1 loss. This past Thursday, September 27th, Page varsity volleyball won against Ragsdale in the conference match by a score of 3-0. Their next game will be this Wednesday, October 3rd at 5:00 pm vs.East Forsyth. Senior Madelyn Albright is one of the captains of the Page varsity volleyball team. She excels in every play such as hitting, kills, digging, and aces and is higher than the national average in every aspect. Another star player is junior Ellis Oliver who is also a captain for the varsity team. Ellis’ stats have exceeded the national average as well in hitting, kills, digging, and aces. Their final conference match will be against Northwest on Thursday, October 11th at 5:00 pm at home. This gives us an opportunity to share the conference championship if we defeat them.
