Page’s Track Team races for success. They raced 5 races in December and they worked hard to accomplish a goal. Page’s track team raced in Southwest Guilford Invitational #1, Titan Clash, NCRunners Holiday Invitational, Spartan Classic, and Patriot Holiday Invitational. A plethora of students raced and did a wonderful, these students and more will train harder to get to the top.

On December 4th the team raced in Southwest Guilford Invitational #1 in Winston Salem N.C. just like all the other races that will be mentioned. In boys 300 meter dash, Jaedon Barnett took 3rd place with a time of 37.41 he also raced in the boys 500 meter dash and took 1st place with a time of 1:09.76. The boys 4×200 meter relay team took 1st place with a time of 1:34.44.

On December 6th Page raced in Titan Clash. In girls 55 meter hurdles Teyanni Ashley with a time of 9.18 took 3rd place. In boys 300 meter dash CJ Crump took 1st place with a time of 1:08.42. The boys 4×200 and 4×400 meter relay team took 3rd place with times of 1:35.93 (4×200) and 3:46.22 (4×400). In boys Long Jump Cody King placed 1st with a jump of 21-5. Finally in the same race Patrick Smith competed in Boys Triple Jump and placed 1st place with a jump of 43-2.

Unfortunately no one came in the top three spots for NCRunners Holiday Invitational which was raced on, December 15th. However on December 20th they raced in Spartan Classic which was a major comeback. The girls 4×200 meter relay team took 2nd place with a time of 1:57.45. IN boys 500 meter dash, Jaedon Barnett placed 2nd with a time of 1:08.32 and Cam Milroy, who raced in the boys 3200 meter run, placed 1st with a time of 10.17.49. The Boys 4×400 meter relay team placed 2nd with a time of 3:37.30. Finally, in the last race of December they raced in Patriot Holiday Invitational on December 22nd. The boys 4×200 meter relay team placed 3rd with a time of 1:36.85. The racers trained hard and dominated the month of December. Dream Big Pirates.
