The Page High School wrestling team has had an eventful season filled with wins. On November 16, the Page Wrestlers started off their season with a tri-match that began with two losses against Ragsdale (24-52) and Northern High School (24-50). The match had a shift as the Pirates went up against Rockingham County and had their first win with a final score of 59-24.
On November 20, the wrestling team had their first dual match against Western Guildford and had a win with the score of 54-30. They had another dual match on the 27th against Carrboro and walked out with another win of 53-30. On November 30th, the team traveled to Williams High School for another tri-match. They finished off the first round with a win against Carrboro High school (53-24) and Williams High School (62-12). They ended off the match against Forest Hills with an outstanding score of 72-6. On Saturday, December 4th, the team took on Anson and left with a win of 45-36. Shortly after, the Pirates had their first home match of the season and lost with the score of 63-9.
