Page High’s Spirit Week is finally here, and the energy on campus is electric. Every day has a different theme, and students are going all out to show their Pirate pride before the huge rivalry game against Grimsley.
Monday kicked things off with Generation Day, and it did not disappoint. Freshmen came dressed as babies, sophomores rocked their best college fits, juniors turned into BBQ dads and soccer moms, and seniors shuffled through the halls as senior citizens. There were pacifiers, fanny packs, and walkers everywhere—it was hilarious.
Tuesday was Meme/Character Day, and the creativity was next level. People showed up as viral memes, TV characters, and funny internet icons. It felt like walking through TikTok and Cartoon Network at the same time.
On Wednesday, it was Mathlete vs. Athlete Day. You either showed up in nerdy gear with calculators and suspenders or repped your sports team. It turned into a fun little competition between the “brains” and the “brawn,” but everyone was laughing and taking pictures together.
Thursday got serious with Grimsley Grit Day, when everyone dressed up to go against our biggest rivals. The vibe was definitely “game face on.” You could feel the excitement building for Friday’s matchup.
Finally, Friday is Page Pride Day, when the entire school will be covered in red and black Pirate gear. It’s the perfect way to bring the whole school together and get hyped for one of the biggest high school football rivalries in North Carolina.
Spirit Week is more than just fun outfits, it’s about tradition, school pride, and bringing everyone together. By the time Friday night hits, Page is going to be ready to take on Grimsley
