The Sign Language Club is a new club at Page this year. The club director is Mr.Gustaveson, who is a biology teacher at Page High School. The purpose of the Sign Language Club is to teach students how to communicate and interact using sign language, to learn about the Deaf Culture, and to inform other students about the needs of the deaf community in the Greensboro area. The meetings are weekly on Thursdays in Mr. Gustaveson’s room 609, and at every meeting new sign language will be taught. The club expectations are to practice sign language daily, continue to learn about deaf culture, and seek opportunities to interact with the deaf community. The overall goal of the club is to provide service for Page High school and for the surrounding community.
