The Page Pirates men basketball team played six games over winter break. Their first game was against West Montgomery on 12/20/16. The Pirates beat the Warriors in a convincing 69-56 win. Their next game they played was on 12/21/16 against North Rowan. The Pirates won 73-50, giving them two wins in two days. The pirates then played in the Haeco Invitational tournament. They played a tough match up against Dudley first round. The Pirates lost 64-58. Although they lost, they were not out of the tournament yet. The Pirates then played their rivals Grimsley. The Pirates won 71-56 with Elijah Short leading the team in scoring with 12 points. The Pirates then played one last game in the tournament on 12/28/16 against Smith. Page won in a close 58-54 game. Tylan Tatum led the Pirates in scoring with 16 points. The Pirates finished in 5^th place with a 2-1 record in the tournament. The Pirates next game was on 1/3/17 against Southeast. Page lost 70-61 in a tough game.  The Pirates next game is against Grimsley at Page on 1/6/17, *Possible chance of reschedule due to inclement weather.
