One night in the streets of Brooklyn around Prospect Park, Katie, a Chihuahua Rat Terrier mix, goes off exploring around some trash cans on the street when her owner, Sarah Darby notices Katie attacking something. Sarah eventually realizes that it is a rat. This eventually begins Katie’s claim to fame as this becomes the first of Katie’s nearly 500 rodent victims. All of these kills take place within a mile from Sarah Darby’s home. As Katie grows in popularity, many begin to worry about her safety when it comes to ingesting rat poison. Although, owner Sarah Darby doesn’t worry about Katie being poisoned. She always washes Katie’s paws after a night out or cleans any wounds Katie may obtain during a fight. Ms. Darby does hope that Katie will move on to a new hobby soon, but as for now Sarah Darby and Katie will keep walking the streets at night giving Katie the opportunity to increase her rat kill count.
