The movie continues to age as a classic, and it serves as a parody for many of the romance movies and action films that still come out, it’s ridiculous as it is funny, the film made a very popular cult fiction surrounding the film, with many people still quoting the film to this day, its a timeless, perfect movie.
Some critics do say that the movie drags on, that it’s a lot longer than it needs to be, I authorize this could be because people’s attention span has lowered, with many new movies involving constant action instead of the slow wit shown in the Princess Bride.
