This year Page High School welcomes some new additions to faculty and staff. Nineteen in counting, we have six new teachers in the science department, three in the math department, two in English, one in physical education, one new assistant principal, and seven in different departments such as office support, the EC department, and different coordinators. This year every department is holding the intention of guiding the younger minds of this generation to success. Faculty and staff whether familiar or new are truly rooting for the Page Pirates to succeed in their own right.

In the science department the new additions include Beverly Goode, Taylor Ross, Kenneth Pearce, Caroline Kinlaw, Adam Schwarz, and Krystle Rouse. One of the new science teachers Krystle Rouse happened to have answered a few questions for us stating, “ I am enjoying getting to know the staff and students” she replied with the utmost enthusiasm when asked How do you like Walter Hines Page High school so far? She also stated, “As a Biology teacher it is my goal to ensure that my students are adequately prepare for their EOC” when asked what she hoped to achieve this year in the aspect of teaching.

Three new additions in the math department include Blair Roberts, Newton Babb, and Kirsti Burrow. In the English department Page High school can welcome Meghan Spivey and Natalie Popovich. Hardy Gomez is the only new addition to the Spanish department and Alison Taylor in physical education.

Kristen Priest happens to be the new assistant principal and Suzanne Amos and Gloria Edwards have joined our office support team. In the EC department John Cunningham and Louise Price are new additions and Wendy Wright is a testing coordinator. In conclusion this is bound to be a great year so let’s welcome all the new faces and strive for success!
