The Republican and Democrat Club held a mock presidential election to determine which way the school leans. 369 students, which is 18% of the overall school population, voted and expressed their political views this past Wednesday and Thursday. Overall, Donald Trump had the majority vote with 49%, Hillary Clinton came in second with 37%, Gary Johnson came in third with 10%, and Jill Stein finished in fourth with 3% of the votes. Also, Donald Trump was the majority vote in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade. However, Hillary Clinton took the lead in the 12th grade votes.
