Ellen Knapp is May’s Student of the Month. Her accomplishments include being a state qualifier in swimming three times, being top ten in her class, being field hockey captain, and recently receiving the FBI Scholarship. When asked how it felt to be Student of the Month, Ellen said, “Considering there’s four hundred plus people in my class, I’m very honored.” Ellen will miss Student Council, and basically everything about Page once she leaves. She has so many favorite parts, but her favorite is probably the outstanding people who have become her family. When asked what she wanted others to know about her and take from her experience at Page she said, “I want people to know I hate chocolate and soup. Public school is better then private school.” Ellen also said, “I’d love to thank the newspaper staff as well!”
