First 3 Weeks of School Under our Belts

First 3 Weeks of School Under our Belts

Congratulations Pirates, we have officially made it through three full weeks of school and things are looking good. Personally, this has been one of the smoothest first few weeks of school I have seen here at Page in my four years: No fights, limited tardiness and smooth transitions into classwork. It seems like the administrators have buckled down and won’t put up with any foolishness from students this year- especially when it comes to being late. One major difference that has resonated with me is how we now have to go to lunch detention immediately if you are late. It’s senior year and I’m going to be running behind, but with this tardy policy I push myself to be on time because I don’t want to spend my break in the day in lunch detention; this is a no exceptions policy. Page has also undergone some cosmetic changes this year that you may have noticed, over the summer new doors were put in and the Shipyard had its final touches with the brick yard. Coming up on the end of the first month of school, it’s clear to see we have a big year ahead of us; with the Page vs Grimsley game at home all the way to graduation I can safely say this year will be a smooth one, we definitely got off on the right foot! Keep it up Pirates and let’s make this year great!!
