Jussie Smollett Scandal

Chicago police said they believe that “Empire” star Jussie Smollett made up claims that he was the target of a racist and homophobic attack; evidence against him was being presented to a grand jury. Smollett could face up to three years in prison if charged and convicted of the crime.
It’s absolutely absurd that Jussie Smollett would do such an appalling action. Was this scheme for more ratings and viewers on “Empire” or further fame to his name? If so, he got what he wanted, he is officially a household name that everyone knows and won’t forgot about in “scandal history”. As for the show “Empire”, I’m pretty sure they won’t be receiving the amount of views they wished for. Maybe this was possibly a plan to get President Trump out of office? Smollett stayed that during his “attack”, he heard “this is a MAGA (make America great again) country,” which is Trump’s campaign slogan. In regards to Jussie Smollett’s motives, this plan he had done was wrong way to go as he caused so much chaos towards the show he stars on, himself, and everyone that was involved/ involved in this case now.
