The+Classes+All+High+School+Students+Should+Have+to+Take+to+Graduate

Choosing any one mandatory subject may prove difficult amidst such turbulent waters in secondary institutions. Nevertheless, it is important to note that a course entitled “Life Skills and Personal Finance” cannot be overlooked. The students would learn about financial literacy, how to relate to society, and ways that they can maintain health.

  1. Financial Literacy

Success in adulthood starts with the understanding of personal finance. Such a specialized class in financial literacy focuses on budgeting, managing debt, and making smart financial choices. Students need this information as they proceed toward college education and their future careers.

  1. Interpersonal Skills

Communication, conflict resolution, and teamwork will be emphasized in the course. These are very important skills as they help one in having healthy personal relationships and successful careers. Any field appreciates the skill of being able to work together with others, as well as communicating well.

  1. Well-being and Mental Health

Mental health should be addressed during one of the most challenging periods – high school. For instance, a special class focusing on stress management, resiliency, and self-care could be developed. The comprehensive nature of this approach helps in improving the lives of all students.

Cheikh Toure, Staff Writer
Hi my name is Cheikh Toure. I'm currently, in my 3rd year at Page High School. I am from the country of Togo, where French is our official language. Throughout my time at Page High School soccer has played a role in shaping my journey. Being part of the school's soccer team has taught me lessons in discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. Moreover, beyond the field, I've discovered a passion for writing. Fiction is particularly intriguing to me as it allows me to unleash my imagination. Whether it's embarking on thrilling adventures or exploring the depth of emotions writing has become an outlet for me to express my creativity. In addition to my love for storytelling and creativity through writing, I've developed an interest in technology and engineering. Exploring computer coding and learning about its intricacies interests me. Once I graduate from school my aspiration is to pursue a career as a software engineer. Apart from fiction and technology pursuits staying informed about world news has also become an aspect of my life. Keeping up with world news broadens my perspectives. Enhances my understanding of our evolving world. As I continue on this journey at Page High School I am grateful for the experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. My background dedication to sportsmanship and thirst for knowledge all contribute to shaping who I am becoming. I am excited to welcome the opportunities that the future holds for me.
