On Monday, October 2nd the Men’s Soccer team took on the Tigers of Ragsdale in an away conference game. The Pirates took home a win, with the final score 6-2. During a physical game, cards were given but the Pirates still fought. AC Camara scored 2 goals. Cameron Massey, Abel Haile, Giovanni Santibanez, and Nick Patsch each scored one goal to contribute the Pirates win. On Tuesday, October 3rd the men took on High Point Central in an away conference game. The Pirates won 4-3 against the Bison. Giovanni Santibanez and AC Camara each scored 2 goals to bring the Pirates to a win. On Thursday, October 5th the Pirates took on the Cowboys of Southwest Guilford. The final score was 5-2 with Pirates on top. Giovanni Santibanez, AC Camara, Caleb Patsch, Abel Haile, and Giovanni Lagnerini each had 1 goal to bring the Pirates to a win. The game was very physical which resulted in the Cowboys gaining a goal due to a slide tackle in the penalty box. The Pirates play next on Tuesday, October 10th against the Whirlies of Grimsley.
