As the season ends, our Field Hockey girls have done all they can to make this season a success. They had some obstacles, but that never stopped them from achieving their goals. With 13 wins and only three defeats the Pirates gave been going strong. They not only improve on the field, but we also are seeing how they are improving as a team. This year the girls are learning how to grow together and be stronger as a team. The girls are currently learning how to work together and settle their differences. Anne Dehnert, stated, “This year we have really bonded together as a team, so everyone has a crucial job on and off the field.” Showing how tight knit the team is. When asked what her favorite thing about the season was, Kristine Shaw stated, “The team dinners! Joining together with the junior and seniors has been very enjoyable.” The team have worked as hard as they can to make this a great season. “Our team has continued to work on penalty corners and defensive drills to improve scoring and ball control,” states Lucy Rose about the adjustments they have made in this season. Overall, its safe to say that our ladies deserve all the love and support from everyone here at Page as they get ready for the playoffs.
