Soccer Gets Ready for the Whirlies

As the soccer season is coming close to an end, the boys of the Page Pirates Mens Varsity Team are wrapping up the season with 7 wins so far. On Tuesday October 22nd the boys had a home conference game against High Point Central and won with a score of 2-0. They now prepare for another winning game against rivalry Grimsley High School, Earlier in the season the Page varsity team had a win against the Whirlies with a score of 1-0.

        Number 22, Daniel Martinez, is proud of the team and how the season is going and talks about the good chemistry between the team. The team seems to have good communication skills as they help one another improve after each game by telling each other how to correct things and push each other to do better. Although Daniel cannot play for the rest of the season because of a tear in his ACL, he continues to support his team. Tonight, the Grimsley game will also be a home and will take place at the Marion Kirby Stadium.
