Mary Grace Beard, senior here at Page, went on a mission trip this summer. She went to the Dominican Republic with First Presbyterian Church of Greensboro. While there, Mary Grace and her church group helped with Vacation Bible School. They also helped build a church and a school. When asked about the experience, Mary Grace said “It was a really wonderful experience and everyone should do it sometime in their life.” When Mary Grace was asked what her favorite part of the mission trip was she said, “Playing with the children and being with my friends was my favorite.” To get involved with a mission trip like this you could contact a church and see about upcoming mission trips.
