As Nelson Mandela once said, “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” This past week has been incredibly stressful for our country with the presidential election and will continue to be overwhelming until our country calms down. After Donald Trump’s win, the country has become even more divided than ever. With Democrats and Republicans at odds, this country has never needed something to unify them like they do now. Mandela was right when he stated that everything seems impossible until it is done. Right now the last thing that many people in the country want to hear about is unification, but that is exactly what this country needs to hear. It does not matter what side of the election you are on or who you think should have won. It does not even matter who actually won the election. What does matter is the fact that the people of this country need to stand together as a whole. Unification seems impossible right now, but once it is done it won’t seem so unreachable anymore.
