On Saturday, April 1st , 2023, 17-year-old Ariyonna Fountain was tragically murdered for no apparent reason.

Ariyonna, also known as Ari, was a 17-year-old student enrolled at Grimsley High School at the time of her death. She attended Page her freshman year and the first 2 months of her sophomore year. Everyone who knew Ari described her as a respectful, drama free, bubbly person who was always kind to everyone. During her time at Page, she made long-lasting friendships and close bonds with the staff. She was also a well-loved JV cheerleader during the 2021-2022 football season.

This is another sad case of gun violence in our community. In 2019, 18-year-old Sincere Davis was murdered. He took AP classes and was the captain of our Page football team. He had a bring future ahead of him and just like Ariyonna, his life was unfairly ended early.
