Page High Gets New Field, Boosting Sport Programs and School Spirit

Page+High+Gets+New+Field%2C+Boosting+Sport+Programs+and+School+Spirit

Hello Pirates! As you may know, our school got a brand new field. After years of use, we decided to upgrade to a much better model. The field  brings a better aesthetic to our school and provides a fresher base for our athletes. Football, field hockey, track, lacrosse and other exciting sports and events all benefit from this decision. Since our school is very athletically active, Principal Naglee decided to improve the playability of our most used area of activity.

The new turf provides a safe and consistent playing surface for everybody and allows for evening games to be enjoyed and practices to attend! You may be wondering, how do we keep this area clean so that the field is always open for use? Well, Principal Naglee had said that there is now a process to keep our new field clean. There will be a machine to help upkeep the field after hours. It helps the rubber pellets stay level, helping preserve the longevity of the surface of the field.

The scoreboard also shows advertisements from different brands to help promote our school and bring in profits to improve even more things around the campus.

As seen from our previous games and involvement, everybody seems to be enjoying the new field, whether you’re attending the stadium for a game or staying after school to do a long rewarding practice. To make sure new renovations are coming our way, help take care of our new field and treat it with care. Pick up your trash or even somebody else’s who has left theirs. Doing this will ensure that our administration feels comfortable to continue improving the grounds.

Hopefully this field continues to heighten our school spirits and better our playing. Thank you to everyone for making this possible and for the people who put their time and effort into it!
