Student Of The Month

March’s Male Student of the Month is Parker Ettinger. Parker loves that he is a part of Poetic Voices and Playmakers. He even earned a couple spots in the schools Winter and Spring Musical. He has also participated in Poetic Voices open mic night. Along with that Parker has even earned enough volunteer hours to graduate with a service learning diploma. Parkers favorite part of Page is the students and welcoming environment all around. Parker wants others to know that he is a very motivated person and once he puts his heart into something he wont stop until he succeeds. When asked on how he felt on being student of the Month he told us he was surprised but it felt good that he had been recognized. Lastly Parker’s piece of advice for others is to always stay focused and to put your best food forward.

March’s Female student of the Month is Alayna Wallace; she is a very dedicated student. Alayna has had two major accomplishments this year which include making honor roll every quarter and working her hardest in every class and going in early to complete her hours at a Nursing home for her Nursing Fundamentals class. Alayna is also involved in the Interact Club, where students come together to go to Mendenhall Middle school to mentor children who are falling behind or need behavioral help, in order to give them that push to go on the right track. She told us that her favorite part of Page is the class options they offer, because at her last school they didn’t offer the Nursing class she wanted to take in order to become a traveling nurse. She also wants others to know that looks don’t determine who you are, its your heart and your ability to accomplish your dreams and goals. When asked how it felt to be Student of the Month she said, “It feels great to be Student of the Month. I feel appreciated as if someone finally see’s the hardworking I have put into myself”. Lastly, her tips for others is to never give up on the things you love and know that you’re not alone as its okay to fall as long as you get back up.
