Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Movie Review

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Movie Review

On November 11th, Marvel released Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the sequel movie to 2018’s Black Panther. This movie was a wonderful tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, who played the leading role in the first movie. Starring Letita Wright, Tenoch Huerta, Angel Bassett and more, I believe this was one of the best movies released this year, marking the end of Marvel Phase Four. The movie itself overall was both hilarious and heartbreaking- the cast gave a truly amazing performance. The small references and tributes to Chadwick had the entire theater so quiet you could hear a popcorn kernel drop. There were certain scenes that were nothing short of magical: the lighting, the music, the acting! The set design was impeccable- the set and costume designers all deserve a raise. Maybe it’s because the cast are all friends, but the dialogue and chemistry between characters felt so smooth and natural and real. Seeing funny and lovable side characters from the previous movie had the whole theater laughing. If you can, I recommend you see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in theaters before it’s gone, because it was truly an incredible experience.
