Page Yearbook Earns Top Honors

Let’s us give our props to our 2015-2016 Page yearbook and their many impressive achievements. As a whole, they were recognized for their hard work on many different occasions. The Columbia Scholastic Press Association awarded them with a silver medalist certification and the NSPA (National Scholastic Press Association) recognized them with a merit award. They also received an award from the National Yearbook Program Excellence where they were recognized for creation and distribution. A couple of students themselves received individual recognition; Namita Patel won second in a nationwide photo contest and Savannah Huffman won Page’s Picture of the Year, as  chosen by Page’s own staff. Their advisor, Mathew Rickard, has said to ensure that they have a successful year and that they keep up with their deadlines “they often spend time after school and have homework many people think that it is simply an easy class” when in reality it is not a class to be taken lightly. So we give our congratulations and look forward to seeing the 2016-2017 yearbook edition and are excited to see how they can possibly top themselves this upcoming year.
