David Attenborough has been introducing nature documentaries to TV screens all over the world for seven decades now. In a number of ground-breaking documentary films, the British broadcaster and biologist was able to teach audiences about wildlife, nature habitats, and, in general, the importance of preserving the planet.
Attenborough, who was born in London in 1926, started working for the BBC where he soon distinguished himself by his calm voiceover and interest in nature. Eventually, David Attenborough became the creator of the best-known documentary series of all time, including Life on Earth and Planet Earth.
His documentaries have introduced millions of people to unusual habitats and unique creatures. Later in life, Attenborough has made films concerning climate change and man-made disasters that threaten the existence of many endangered species.
Still working today, David Attenborough has managed to become the voice of nature for many people in various countries. He keeps filming documentaries and delivering lectures about the conservation of animals and plants.
