The recent announcement that the drive-thru Clutch Coffee Bar is shutting down has left many students disappointed. The coffee shop was a popular stop for students grabbing a quick drink in the morning or afternoon.
Clutch was well known for its wide variety of drinks, ranging from coffee and its “fancy” variations to its popular flavored energy drinks. Because of its strong following, many students took to social media to express their frustration and sadness over the closure.
Although the announcement was upsetting, it is not a total loss for Clutch fans. The company has made an agreement with Dutch Bros, which plans to replace many of the closing Clutch locations, giving students another option for their caffeine fix.
